Call Center/Member Service Representative

Description:

If you have an outgoing personality, great communication skills, and a knack for problem solving, we would love to have you join our Call Center! If you don't have banking experience, don't worry, we have extensive training to help you feel comfortable assisting members -- passion and people skills are what we are looking for, so we will teach you all the details.

Duties:

- Provide excellent member service and support to credit union members by telephone.
- Responsible for handling requests by the member for credit union products and services.
- Educate members on credit union product and services based on member needs.
- Creatively and conveniently solves member problems in an expedient manner.
- Perform comprehensive account and service functions in an accurate and timely manner.
- Always present a friendly, helpful and professional demeanor with any member or coworker contact.
- Contribute to departmental and corporate goals.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- High school or equivalent education required.
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently by phone.
- Possess a positive, cooperative attitude with a high regard for providing high quality member service.
- Typing speed of at least 25-30 wpm.- Ten-key by touch a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to use computer keyboard and mouse.
- Must be able to view computer monitor.
- Must be able to talk on the telephone for long periods of time.
